clean and spacious room, great pool area, nearby shops
The food options seemed quite limited with repetitive choices!!! The drink service at the bar felt painfully slow, often leading to long waits!!! The early morning building work was disruptive to peaceful mornings!!!

It is fairly clean and fairly large hotel, the staff are affable and location to the supermarket round the corner is marvellous. The apartment is recently refurbished with a lovely walk in shower, tea or coffee, as for instance. ...

Units with a balcony. Quick check in and late check out.

This hotel is practically a disaster-food constantly cold, and the restaurant staff are miserable. After enduring such treats, I expected a complimentary upgrade or something to salvage my ruined stay, but I guess that's just not on the radar here. Almost wrote a good review, but I just couldn't, honestly!

Really good position. La Pergola is set 550 feet away from the property. The location was within short walking distance to the main attractions in Puerto de Santiago, like Los Gigantes. We appreciated staying at globales tamaimo tropical. ...

Friendly and easy going atmosphere, funny pool instructors, fantastic view on Los Gigantes and very close proximity to the beach.
Very loud music around the pool, little ants on the kitchen counters inside the room, the towels were not changed at the regular intervals (mine were changed once a week)

Very friendly and helpful staff
Not strictly a dislike but feel the rooms need updating i.e. it was like stepping back ten years, also there is no grill or oven facilities and would have liked sky tv.

The accomodation for the latter part of my holiday was excellent, as were the staff and facilities. The reception manager, Carlos, was particularly helpful.
The first room that was given to me was disgusting. The drains had a foul uncleaned smell, and the room had definitely not been cleaned for some time. The cooker fan was broken. There was no kettle, toaster, frying pan, cooking utensils, or wine glasses. There was only one bedside table for two beds (not between the beds).

Consider visiting the quieter Italian restaurant for a more peaceful dining experience. It offers a less crowded atmosphere and customizable pizza options.

Had a nice view from the 5th floor of the mountains
Was loud, it was the same every day for breakfast, there were cockroaches in the room, could not rest, the bar closed at midnight, but even at three in the drunken shouting,

Not our first stay here and overall we have been very pleased with the cleanliness, friendliness and food quality. The free Wi-fi is not what I hoped and whilst reception staff tried to be helpful they had varied ideas about how it should work and did not find the answer as to why I could not use it on our final day. We booked out at 11 am on day off departure and at about 3 pm whilst by the poolside I tried again for the umpteenth time and surprise surprise I got Wi-fi. I am assuming this was because there had logged me out and it was now ready for the next guest so that by me logging in as though I had just arrived it gave me access. I'm convinced the hotel IT system was to blame and lack off understanding by staff just compounded my frustration. I hope management will take this on board as a constructive criticism and try and avoid repetition. I would still recommend the hotel - we had a lovely 11 days thank you. David Green room 360. 12/01 to 23/01.

Great spacious rooms! But noisy surroundings
The one-bedroom apartment offered big comfortable spaces with a lovely balcony. Daily cleaning was thorough. The hotel grounds were quite nice, with multiple swimming pools, made it easy to unwind after a day of exploring. I found the communal areas appealing, as they...
